He'll still pull. He won't get out.
A front clip to redirect the pull, two locking buckles so he can't back out, and a handle for the moment you need him close.
Measure his chest before you order. It is the only number that matters.
Made to fit the dog you have
A dog who pulls on a back clip pulls with his whole chest, and on a busy road that is the moment a lead slips. This harness puts the lead on a front ring, so the pull turns him back towards you.
| Best for | Dogs with a chest of 43–107 cm who pull on lead |
| Not for | Dogs with a chest under 43 cm |
What it does
- Two locking buckles. They click shut on both sides.
- Front clip redirects. Clip the lead to the chest ring and pulling turns him back towards you instead of forward.
- Handle on the back. For crossing a road, a vet waiting room, or lifting him into the boot.
- Reflective strips. Stitched down both sides, to catch headlights and torchlight on an evening walk.
- Padded, not stiff. Soft mesh against the chest and shoulders, made for long walks.
- Adjustable at neck and chest. So it fits the dog you have, not an average one.
- Step-through opening. He puts his head through the gap. No clips fastened around the neck.
Sizing
Measure the widest part of his chest, just behind the front legs. Chest girth is the number that decides the size. Weight is only a rough guide, and two dogs at the same weight can be shaped completely differently.
| Size | Chest girth | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| S | 43 – 56 cm (17 – 22") | 3.6 – 6.8 kg (8 – 15 lb) |
| M | 56 – 69 cm (22 – 27") | 6.8 – 16 kg (15 – 35 lb) |
| L | 69 – 81 cm (27 – 32") | 16 – 30 kg (35 – 66 lb) |
| XL | 81 – 107 cm (32 – 42") | 30 – 50 kg (66 – 110 lb) |
The smallest we do is a 43 cm chest. Measure first, so the size you order is the size that fits.
Between two sizes? Take the larger one. You can bring it in at the neck and chest from there.
Allow about an inch either way, as each harness is measured by hand.
How it goes on
- Head through the opening
- Clip both side buckles
- Adjust the straps until you can slide two fingers underneath
- Lead on the front ring to redirect, back ring for a relaxed walk
Front ring — training a puller. Back ring — a dog who already walks nicely.
Two fingers is the test. Tighter and it rubs. Looser and he backs out of it.
Questions
Will it stop him pulling?
It redirects the pull. Clip the lead to the front chest ring and he turns towards you instead of pulling ahead. He will still pull — he just gets nowhere.
My dog has slipped a harness before. Will this one hold him?
Fitted properly, yes. Two locking buckles click shut on both sides, and it adjusts at the neck and chest until two fingers slide under the straps and no more. Check both buckles have clicked before you head out.
Which size do I choose?
Measure the chest, not the neck, and size up if you land between two. Chest girth is the deciding number — weight is only a hint.
Do you make an extra small?
S is the smallest, starting at a 43 cm chest. It is made for dogs from that size up.
Is it reflective?
Yes. Reflective strips run along both sides. On a dark road, pair it with a light as well.
Will it rub him?
The chest and shoulder panels are padded mesh. If it ever rubs, loosen the chest straps one notch.
How do I wash it?
Warm soapy water and a brush, then air dry. Not the washing machine.
What if it does not fit?

Why we sell this one
Every walk starts at the front door, and a dog who pulls turns it into a tug of war.
We chose this harness for the part that matters on a lead: a front ring that turns him back towards you, two locking buckles, and a padded chest for longer walks.
He will still pull — some dogs always will. This one keeps him with you while he learns not to.
